Job summary

Zutari in Dubai is seeking a Planning Engineer to support transport and infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges. You will develop detailed schedules, monitor progress, and communicate schedule risks to clients and stakeholders.

The role requires hands‑on planning, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a solid grasp of FIDIC contracts, Excel dashboards, and cost/schedule risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in planning & scheduling on major transport/infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project; Power BI a plus.
• Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts, programme management, and cost/schedule risk.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with Excel and dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Support baseline schedules, WBS, narratives, and resource/cost loading.
• Monitor progress against baseline and identify slippages and critical path impacts.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, utilities, and construction teams for updates.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule narratives.
• Assist with look‑ahead programmes, milestone trackers, and interface schedules.
• Assist with delay analysis, EOT support, and delay impact assessments.
• Participate in risk reviews/workshops and maintain schedule risk items.
• Ensure planning outputs align with Zutari standards and audits.
