Job summary

SO/ Uptown Dubai is seeking an experienced Stewarding Team Leader in Dubai, UAE. You will oversee the stewarding department, ensuring top cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Lead a team, report to the Chief Steward, and drive continuous improvement in operations. Responsibilities include supervising daily stewarding, equipment maintenance, hygiene compliance, and collaboration with other hotel departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of stewarding or back-of-house experience in hospitality.
• Proven supervisory or team-leader experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of hygiene protocols and safe handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily stewarding operations to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across kitchen and service areas.
• Oversee dishwashing, storage, and equipment care per protocols; ensure proper waste management.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures for stewarding areas are consistently followed.
