Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the UAE is seeking a Head Sommelier for the IndoPersian Restaurant to lead the wine program and uphold luxury service standards. You will mentor the sommelier team, collaborate with the wine and membership teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across the resort.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years sommelier experience in luxury settings, a certified sommelier qualification, broad wine knowledge, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sommelier experience in luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or resort environment.
• Extensive knowledge of global wine regions, varietals, vintages, and pairing principles.
• Proven experience in wine list development and cellar management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and uphold Wynn Al Marjan Island values, wine program standards, and service excellence across the sommelier team.
• Act as brand ambassador and build relationships with employees, members, guests, and partners.
• Oversee wine list development, staff training, and adherence to luxury service standards.
