Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a Head Sommelier – Lebanese to lead the resort's beverage program and elevate wine service with a luxury guest experience in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of sommelier experience in high-end settings, strong leadership, fluent English, and a passion for wine education and guest engagement. A Certified Sommelier qualification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sommelier experience in luxury hospitality environments.
• Certified Sommelier qualifications favored (CMS / WSET or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of global wine regions, varietals, vintages and food pairing.
• Experience in wine list development, cellar management and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and uphold Wynn Al Marjan Island values, wine program standards, and service excellence across the sommelier team.
• Act as a Wynn brand ambassador, building relationships with staff, members, guests and partners.
• Collaborate with Administrative Wine Team and Membership Team to support wine sales initiatives and growth.
• Oversee wine list development, team knowledge, and adherence to luxury service standards and safety requirements.
• Provide expert wine recommendations and personalized experiences for members and guests.
• Plan and lead wine tastings, educational seminars, team training sessions, and pre-shift briefings.
• Continuously develop wine expertise and assume leadership responsibilities as required.
