Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer to drive scalable, production-grade solutions for advertising clients. You will lead cross-functional teams across Product Engineering, R&D, and Customer Success to unlock business opportunities and deliver value.

You will act as a technical leader, providing architectural guidance, applying TikTok products and ML capabilities, and shaping how we solve real-world client problems at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, technical solutions design and delivery
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role
• Familiarity with Python/Go/Java/C/C++ and API/backend systems design
• Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure (production model training/deployment, evaluation, tuning)
• Experience in advertising technology and data analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, production-grade solutions in collaboration with TikTok Product Engineering teams to meet evolving business and client needs.
• Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert across the Solutions Engineering organization, providing architectural guidance and driving engineering excellence.
• Understand and apply TikTok products and technology to develop commercial opportunities with advertising clients.
• Cultivate partnerships with customer success to identify business opportunities and support goals.
• Design and build end-to-end systems and launch plans; launch production-grade code with documentation and tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Identify stakeholders and align cross-functional partners toward project completion.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Use data to influence decision-making through presenting business value and impact.
