Job summary

ITWorx in United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Lead to own the end-to-end SDLC for Dynamics 365 applications. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture, ensure code quality, and coordinate with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, strong skills in C# .NET, JavaScript, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, and hands-on Dynamics 365 CE expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service).
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse architecture, security model, and data modelling.
• Expertise in: C# (.NET) for plugins and custom workflow activities.
• JavaScript.
• PowerApps (model driven, canvas, pages).
• Power Automate.
• Strong understanding of solution management.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements into deliverables and ensure mapping to requirements.
• Manage time estimation of projects and adhere to plan and standards.
• Oversee software lifecycle execution per methodology and project needs.
• Ensure delivery of code per technology stack and guidelines.
• Create and execute unit tests and report results.
• Document code as needed.
• Conduct code reviews for junior and senior engineers.
• Create project architecture and design with the technical architect.
• Ensure creation of application specifications and guidelines.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional system.
• Collaborate with testing to develop verification plans and QA procedures.
• Support testing team and guide the technical team through lifecycle.
• Represent development team in communications with customers.
• Manage solution deployment and conduct UAT with the customer.
• Fix nonconformities from audits.
• Report progress, issues, risks, and changes to leads and PM.
• Participate in hiring technical team members.
• For full stack/frontend: convert visuals to UI elements and create prototypes.

Job description

Job purpose:

Manage and ensure the execution of software development life cycle of applications and programs (installation; configuration; deployment; analyzing; documenting; coding/development; and unit testing) as well as leading junior and senior engineers assigned to projects.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Interpret the customer requirements into deliverables (code; installation of a system; deployment. … etc) and ensure they are well mapped with the requirements
• Manage the time estimation of projects while following the project plan and timeline as well as the organization processes and standards
• Manage and ensure the execution of the software lifecycle following the agreed on methodology (might execute when needed and as per the project needs)
• Manage and ensure the delivery of the code as per the agreed on technology stack while following the coding and security guidelines (might execute when needed and as per the project needs)
• Manage and ensure the creation and execution of unit test cases (might execute when needed and as per the project needs)
• Ensure the documentation of the code (might document when needed and as per the project needs)
• Conduct code review for junior and senior engineers
• Create the project architecture and design in collaboration with the technical architect
• Ensure the creation of application specifications and guidelines
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Collaborate with the testing team in developing software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Support the testing team and supervise and guide the technical team across the project lifecycle
• Represent the development team in the communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle

• Fix nonconformities resulting from engineering processes audit and architecture audit
• Report work progress; technical issues; risks; and changes in delivery dates to the technical lead and the project manager

• Additional accountabilities in case of full stack/frontend assignment:
• Manage and ensure the conversion of visual screens to UI elements for any portal or application (might execute when needed and as per the project needs)
• Manage and ensure the creation of prototypes using UI technologies (might execute when needed and as per the project needs)
