Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced D365 F&O Developer to design, customize, and optimize ERP and retail store solutions. You will work with X++ extensions, integrate Power Platform apps, and maintain data migrations across multiple legal entities in the UAE/GCC region.

You will own Azure DevOps pipelines, manage environments, and collaborate with business users and partners to deliver robust D365 Commerce/Retail implementations and efficient intercompany processes.

Qualifications

Job description

• Develop, customize, and enhance D365 F&O functionality using X++ and the extension framework, in line with Microsoft best practices.

• Create and modify SSRS reports, Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and workflows as per business requirements.

• Configure and implement data entities, security roles, duties and privileges, and system parameters.

• Develop and maintain solutions across multiple legal entities, including intercompany processes and consolidated reporting requirements.

• Develop and support Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail extensions — CRT, POS extensions, and channel components — deployed across the store estate.

• Design and implement integrations between D365 and third-party applications, including e-commerce, payment, banking, warehouse, and reporting systems.

• Develop and consume APIs and Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, or equivalent) to extend system capability.

• Develop and execute data migration strategies, ensuring accurate and reconciled transition from legacy systems.

• Monitor and optimize batch jobs, data processing, and system performance to sustain high-volume retail and financial transaction loads.

• Own the Azure DevOps build, release, and deployment pipelines for D365 F&O, including code branching, merging, and version control (Git / TFVC).

• Manage code promotion and package deployment through LCS across development, UAT, and production environments.

• Administer and maintain multiple D365 environments, including refreshes, database movements, and environment sizing for multi-legal-entity operations.

• Track work items, bugs, and releases in Azure DevOps, enforcing peer code reviews and release governance.

• Plan and support Microsoft service updates, quality updates, and version upgrades, including regression impact assessment and remediation of customizations.

• Provide technical expertise during ERP implementation and enhancement projects, including UAT, go-live, and hypercare support.

• Assist functional consultants in translating business requirements into technical specifications, solution designs, and effort estimates.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, performance issues, integration failures, and security concerns.

• Ensure technical readiness for peak trading periods, promotions, and month-end / year-end financial close cycles.

• Support new store openings, channel rollouts, and legal-entity additions from a D365 Commerce and F&O technical perspective.

• Collaborate with business users, project managers, Microsoft partners, and ERP vendors to deliver effective solutions.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, deployment runbooks, and development guidelines.

• Mentor junior developers, set technical standards, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and stay current with Dynamics 365 releases, industry trends, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O technical development, with a strong focus on customizations and integrations.

• Proven experience managing large D365 F&O environments with multiple legal entities, including intercompany setups and consolidated reporting.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail (POS, CRT, channel database, and store deployments) is strongly preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps for source control, build automation, release pipelines, and deployment through LCS.

• Experience supporting high-volume, multi-site retail operations within the UAE / GCC region; pharmacy or healthcare retail experience is an advantage.
