Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Product Owner for the P220i MALE-class engine to lead technical and commercial decisions across its lifecycle. You will own the roadmap, baselines, and change control, while managing an Italy-based development/manufacturing partnership and driving industrialisation efforts.

The role requires deep propulsion experience, cross-border partnership management, and strong commercial acumen to optimize cost, pricing, and margins on a high-value program.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or Propulsion Engineering (Master’s desirable).
• 8+ years in engine/powertrain development or propulsion programme management.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a complex engine/powertrain product.
• Proven management of development/manufacturing partnerships or joint ventures, ideally cross-border.
• Strong commercial acumen on high-value, capital-intensive products.

Responsibilities

• Act as the final technical and commercial decision-maker for the P220i across its full lifecycle.
• Own the product roadmap, configuration baseline, requirements, and change control.
• Own the business case for a high-value, lower-volume product — unit cost, pricing, margin, and capital intensity.
• Manage the Italy-based development and manufacturing partnership day-to-day.
• Define and maintain engine requirements and interface control for MALE-class integration.
• Drive tests, validation, and qualification with the Test Engineer and during flight-test campaigns.
