Are you an experienced planning professional with a passion for delivering large-scale EPC projects? We are seeking a Lead Planning Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in the successful delivery of complex Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Marine, and Industrial projects.
YOUR ROLE
- Lead the development, maintenance, and control of integrated EPC project schedules covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Handover.
- Develop baseline, resource-loaded, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
- Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA), Earned Value Management (EVM), progress measurement, forecasting, and schedule risk analysis.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, propose mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, schedule performance metrics, and management presentations.
- Support project controls activities including change management, claims assessment, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
- Lead and mentor planning engineers while driving planning best practices across projects.
WHAT WE’R LOOKING FOR
Experience
- Must have 10-12 years of planning and scheduling experience within EPC environments.
- Minimum 3 years in a Lead or Supervisory Planning role.
- Proven experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects, with exposure to Petrochemical, Power, Marine, Civil, or Industrial Plant projects considered an advantage.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Project Management or MBA is preferred.
- PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, or PRINCE2 certifications are highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of:

- Resource Planning & Forecasting
- Progress Measurement
