Role Context
This role drives project performance by managing planning and scheduling functions, ensuring schedule integrity, and supporting decision‑making through detailed analysis. It directly impacts project delivery by maintaining control over timelines, resources, and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced schedule analysis using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related tools.
- Support project baseline creation and ensure accurate schedule setup.
- Conduct detailed schedule quality and integrity checks.
- Validate progress data from project control systems and ensure accuracy.
- Develop and maintain Level3 and Level4 project schedules for EPCIC activities.
- Monitor critical paths and coordinate across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning phases.
- Produce workforce histograms, progress curves, and performance reports.
- Identify schedule risks and implement recovery strategies.
- Mentor junior planners and provide technical guidance.
- Lead planning initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in planning and scheduling within oil and gas projects.
- Strong expertise in EPCIC planning and large‑scale project execution.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
- Experience in LNG or topside fabrication projects is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
