Allocation Assist seeks a Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon to join a leading tertiary care cardiac center in Abu Dhabi. The role involves surgical management of congenital heart disease across neonates, infants, and children, delivering world-class cardiac care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi or equivalent.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery with subspecialty in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.
• DOH Consultant License or Eligibility in Cardiac Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex pediatric cardiac surgeries including congenital heart defect repairs.
• Manage perioperative care of pediatric cardiac patients with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in high-risk case planning and emergency surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Supervise junior surgeons, fellows, and trainees; mentor staff.
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control and quality protocols.
• Contribute to clinical research, audits and publications.
