Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon in Dubai to lead complex congenital and neonatal heart procedures within a high-volume pediatric program.

The ideal candidate holds board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery with subspecialty training in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and 7–10 years of post-fellowship experience, collaborating closely with cardiology, anesthesia and intensive care teams to deliver evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent recognized medical degree.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Specialized training in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and 7–10 years post-fellowship experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex pediatric cardiac procedures for congenital heart disease.
• Undertake neonatal cardiac surgery for critically ill newborns with structural abnormalities.
• Coordinate perioperative management with cardiac anesthesia and pediatric ICU teams.
• Repair congenital defects and perform redo procedures as needed.
• Lead multidisciplinary planning and surgical review conferences.
