Allocation Assist is assisting a leading tertiary pediatric cardiac center in Abu Dhabi to recruit a Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon with transplantation expertise. The role focuses on surgical management of complex congenital heart disease and pediatric heart transplantation in infants, children, and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery with pediatric subspecialty.
• Extensive experience in pediatric cardiac surgery and transplant programs.
• DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility.
• 7–10 years post-fellowship in pediatric cardiac surgery.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex pediatric cardiac surgeries including congenital repairs.
• Lead and participate in heart transplantation programs and donor evaluation.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with ICU, cardiology, anesthesia, and perfusion teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and surgical planning.
• Ensure high standards of surgical safety and infection control.
• Mentor junior surgeons and fellows.
• Contribute to clinical research and publications.
• Maintain documentation per DOH Abu Dhabi regulations.
• Support cardiac program development and quality initiatives.
