Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Lead Instrument and Controls Engineer for an offshore subsea project in Abu Dhabi. You will lead I&C, SIS, DCS, ESD, F&G, and ICSS activities across FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up phases.

The role requires technical leadership for offshore process control and interface management with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in I&C engineering for Oil & Gas, led offshore projects, and understands ADNOC

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation/electrical/controls engineering.
Minimum 15 years I&C engineering in Oil & Gas; 5–8 years lead I&C on offshore EPC/EPCM.
Experience with ADNOC Offshore/Onshore or major offshore operators.
Proven offshore greenfield/brownfield project experience.

Responsibilities

Lead I&C engineering activities across project lifecycle and manage a team.
Develop instrument datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and EDS safety systems.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards and IEC 61508/61511.
Coordinate interfaces with process, electrical, mechanical, and operations teams.
Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and start-up activities.
