Job summary

EDGE is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer – Networking to lead design, implementation, integration, testing, optimization and support of secure network infrastructures for large-scale security, surveillance, defence, and critical infrastructure projects. You will deliver robust, highly available networking solutions in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in network engineering, design, implementation, and support.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and security principles.
• Experience delivering networking solutions for large-scale infrastructure/security projects.
• Experience with multi-vendor environments.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of secure IP-based network infrastructures for security and surveillance solutions.
• Develop networking solutions that meet operational, cybersecurity, scalability, performance, and availability requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration and connectivity between sensors, radars, cameras, VMS, command centers, access control, RF systems, and C4ISR platforms.
• Conduct network integration, testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and acceptance activities.
• Prepare network design documentation, implementation plans, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and industry best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide technical leadership for issue resolution and system optimization.
• Support project planning, technical reviews, risk management activities, and customer engagements.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering teams.
