Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Lead Engineer – Networking to design, implement, and optimize secure IP-based networks for large-scale security and critical infrastructure projects. You will lead technical delivery, ensure compliance, and mentor engineering teams in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment.

In this role you will bridge sensors, VMS, C4ISR platforms, RF systems, and access controls while upholding cybersecurity standards and delivering mission-critical networking solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (see above).
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, design, implementation, and support.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and network security principles.
• Experience with enterprise-grade networking technologies and infrastructure.
• Proven experience delivering networking solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience integrating networks within command-and-control, surveillance, or security environments.
• Fluency in Spanish and English for technical and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of secure IP-based network infrastructures for security and surveillance solutions.
• Develop networking solutions meeting operational, cybersecurity, scalability, performance, and availability requirements.
• Ensure integration between sensors, radars, cameras, VMS, command centers, access control, RF, and C4ISR platforms.
• Conduct network integration, testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and acceptance activities.
• Prepare network design docs, implementation plans, specs, and engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and industry best practices.
• Provide root cause analysis and technical leadership for issue resolution.
• Support project planning, technical reviews, risk management, and customer engagements.
• Provide mentorship to engineering teams.
