Job summary

EDGE is seeking Systems Engineers with 5+ years of experience to support specification, development, integration and test of C4I system solutions. Candidates will work on national and international defence programs, contributing across multidisciplinary teams in highly regulated environments.

The role requires strong technical foundations, structured engineering approaches, and the ability to operate in mission-critical contexts.

Qualifications

Senior Systems Engineer with defence/aerospace experience.
Experience in large-scale, integrated systems development.
Knowledge of lifecycle processes and SE methodologies.
Experience with requirements management and system documentation tools.

Responsibilities

Manage the Message Standards protocols team; design and develop large-scale C4I.
Design Message Standards protocols for C4I systems and data requirements.
Design system interoperability across interfaces/standards (Link-16, MIP, VMF, FFT, ADATP-3).
Support SE lifecycle from concept to delivery including traceability and decomposition.
Support system architecture development for C2 or mission systems and participate in design reviews.
Coordinate with software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, and test teams; maintain docs.
