Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport is seeking a capable Housekeeping Team Leader to supervise daily operations, allocate room assignments, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will train and coach staff, coordinate with Front Office and other departments, and respond to guest requests with professional service. A strong background in luxury hospitality and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of room inspections, linen management, chemical handling and hygiene.
• Proven ability to train and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and guest-relations skills.
• Basic proficiency in housekeeping or property-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations across assigned guest rooms, floors, corridors and service areas.
• Allocate daily room assignments according to occupancy, guest movements, priorities and team availability.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, functionality and compliance with standards.
• Train, coach, and guide room attendants in cleaning procedures and luxury service standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry and other departments regarding room readiness and guest requests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and follow up on issues to ensure service recovery.
• Prepare daily reports, handover notes, and inspection records.
