Job summary

KBR - Inhouse Engineering in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer with 17+ years of I&C experience in oil & gas. You will lead discipline engineering for offshore and onshore assets, drive functional safety, and coordinate with multidiscipline teams across FEED, detailed engineering, and commissioning.

The role requires travel for site surveys, offshore campaigns, and ensuring adherence to ADNOC standards and international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics & Communications engineering.
• Professional certifications in Instrumentation, Automation or Functional Safety are a plus.
• Experience leading I&C engineering for oil & gas projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead all I&C engineering deliverables across concept to detailed engineering.
• Mentor a team of engineers and designers and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Interface with management, clients, operations, and vendors to secure project success.
• Lead brownfield modifications, field surveys, FAT/SAT, commissioning and start-up activities.
