Job summary

Agoda is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineering Manager in Dubai to lead a talented team building scalable, high-performance web applications at a global scale. You will work with product managers, designers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to deliver user-facing platforms and AI-enabled features.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture for SSR and micro-frontends, and ensure delivery of reliable, observable software.

Qualifications

Led teams building large-scale web apps with modern frontend tech (React/Angular/Vue).
Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend patterns.
Deep understanding of web performance, scalability, and best practices.
Experience integrating frontend with backend services via REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
Proven ability to mentor and grow engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers building scalable, reliable web applications and product experiences.
Drive front-end and full-stack solutions, including AI-enabled features.
Collaborate with product, design, data, and engineering for impactful user experiences.
Shape architecture for state management, SSR, micro-frontends, and API integration.
Ensure features are performant, observable, and production-ready.
Mentor engineers and grow team capability in modern web engineering.
Promote best practices: code reviews, testing, and continuous delivery.
Oversee integration with backend services via REST/GraphQL/WebSockets.
Make technical decisions on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
