Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to design and build scalable, responsive web applications in Abu Dhabi. You will work with React, modern JavaScript, and RESTful APIs to deliver high-performance user interfaces.

The role requires 5–8 years of hands-on frontend experience, collaboration with designers, and participation in Agile ceremonies with distributed teams. Knowledge of AI/ML interfaces and cloud deployments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HTML5 CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6).
• Strong React experience with state management libraries (Redux or equivalent).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and implementing responsive UIs.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with unit and E2E testing frameworks (Jest Vitest Cypress Playwright).
• Familiar with frontend build tools and package managers (Webpack/Vite, npm/yarn).
• Version control with Git and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in building scalable responsive and high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of modern frontend frameworks API integration UI/UX design implementation testing and build tools. Familiarity with AI/ML-integrated interfaces and cloud deployment is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced frontend applications using modern JavaScript (ES6) and frameworks such as React.
• Collaborate closely with designers to translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect accessible and responsive web interfaces.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs using tools like Axios or Fetch handling asynchronous workflows efficiently.
• Apply cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards (WCAG) throughout the development process.
• Implement unit and end-to-end testing using Jest Vitest Cypress or Playwright.
• Use frontend build tools (Webpack Vite) and package managers (npm yarn) to manage project workflows.
• Maintain code versioning and collaboration using Git.
• Participate in code reviews sprint planning and Agile ceremonies with distributed teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• HTML5 CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6)
• Expertise in React (or similar frameworks like Angular/Vue) and state management libraries (e.g. Redux Zustand NgRx or Vuex)
• Solid experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Deep understanding of responsive design accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency in unit testing and E2E testing
• Experience with Webpack Vite and package managers (npm yarn)
• Strong command of Git for version control

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with AI/ML APIs or frontends integrated with intelligent systems
