Job summary

GR8_TECH, a Dubai-based technology firm, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design scalable architectures and deliver high-quality code across applications. You will mentor juniors, lead projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals in a remote-first setup.

You should have 5+ years in a senior engineering role with strong JS/TS/React and experience in cloud, DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and databases. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior engineering role.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with state managers, build tools, and package managers.
• Understanding of cloud computing, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of microservices, monolith architectures, and resilient system patterns.
• Understanding of networking, security, authentication, and IAM.
• Proficiency with Git and SDLC methodologies.
• Understanding of browser internals, SPA, REST API, and SSR.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and efficient software architectures
• Write, test, and debug complex code for new and existing applications
• Deliver code to production in a timely manner
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and security
• Lead and manage software development projects
