Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks a Senior Design Engineer – Formwork to lead design of formwork, shoring and scaffolding for major projects across Dubai. You will develop safe, economical solutions and oversee GA drawings, assembly drawings, and 2D/3D models.

The role requires strong experience in temporary works, structural analysis and compliance with BS standards and UAE regulations. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of formwork design experience.
• Experience with scaffolding and temporary works design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Knowledge of BS standards and UAE regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, economical formwork and scaffolding solutions.
• Prepare GA drawings, assembly drawings, steel fabrication drawings and 2D/3D models.
• Perform design calculations using temporary works software.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, suppliers and site personnel.
• Lead junior engineers and review design packages.
• Ensure compliance with QA/HSE and project specifications.
