Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks a Senior Design Engineer – Formwork to lead the design and engineering of formwork, shoring and scaffolding for our construction projects. You will guide junior engineers, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and ensure safe, economical solutions for complex builds.

The role requires deep expertise in temporary works design, structural analysis and drawings, and familiarity with PERI or Doka systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of formwork design experience.
• Experience in scaffolding and temporary works design is advantageous.
• Advanced AutoCAD 2D & 3D and structural analysis software experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, economical formwork, shoring and scaffolding solutions.
• Prepare GA, assembly and steel fabrication drawings.
• Perform and verify structural analysis for temporary works.
• Ensure designs meet BS Standards, UAE regulations and project specs.
• Coordinate with project teams and suppliers; review site implementations.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and draftspeople.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure timely delivery.
