Job summary

CB&I Asset Solutions in Sharjah seeks a Manager - Estimation to lead the development of accurate, competitive and risk-based cost estimates and pricing models across pre-award activities. The role owns the bid costing process and coordinates cross-functional inputs to ensure compliant and commercially robust tenders.

You will review ITT documents, scopes of work and schedules, quantify commercial and execution risks, benchmark subcontractors and produce estimate bases, assumptions and summaries

Qualifications

• Significant estimating experience within energy, engineering, construction or industrial services.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation, pricing methodologies and commercial risk.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams to develop complex estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of accurate, competitive and risk-based cost estimates and pricing models across pre-award activities.
• Own the bid costing process, including estimate development, pricing strategy, cost consolidation and submission support.
• Review ITT documents, scopes of work, schedules and commercial requirements to develop robust estimates.
• Identify, assess and quantify commercial, contractual, execution, schedule and market risks, with appropriate risk allowances.
• Coordinate estimating inputs across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Tax, Legal, Insurance and intercompany stakeholders.
• Benchmark subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure compliant and competitive pricing.
• Develop estimate basis memorandums, pricing assumptions, exclusions, clarifications and qualifications.
• Prepare estimate summaries, risk assessments, pricing recommendations and supporting documentation for bid reviews.
