Job summary

Penspen International Limited in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Offshore Construction Lead to direct offshore teams, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets and technical standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 18–20+ years of relevant experience, with 5–8+ years in offshore projects.
• GCC experience is mandatory, preferably ADNOC Group exposure.
• PMC/EPC background and ADNOC project exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage offshore construction teams including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation, hookup and commissioning of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines and subsea structures.
• Ensure construction activities align with schedules, budgets and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve construction challenges and ensure engineering standards are met.
• Review and approve construction drawings, procedures and method statements.
• Deliver FEED, constructability reviews and reports for offshore scopes.
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards during all offshore operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for high-risk activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers and client representatives to align goals.
• Facilitate daily briefings, progress reviews and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement hookup strategies and offshore construction plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to address delays or unforeseen issues.

• Facilitate daily briefings progress reviews and reporting to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree Engineering in relevant discipline from accredited university
• Minimum 18 to 20+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 to 8+ years in offshore project
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar position
• 5 to 8+ years' experience in offshore Projects is preferred
• Preferred experience from Top Oil & Gas Operators/ PMC/ EPC Background
• GCC experience is mandatory, preferably within ADNOC Group companies
• PMC experience will be preferred
• Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
