Job summary

AimGulf is seeking a Lead Construction Engineer for offshore oil and gas projects in the UAE. The role focuses on leading offshore construction teams, ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met, and coordinating with clients and design teams.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in oil and gas, with at least 5 years offshore EPC experience and familiarity with ADNOC projects. Bachelor’s in Mechanical or related field is required, with a strong emphasis on leadership and offshore

Responsibilities

Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Oversee installation, hookup, and commissioning of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines, and subsea structures.
Ensure construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
Provide technical guidance to resolve construction challenges and ensure engineering standards are met.
Review and approve construction drawings, procedures, and method statements.
Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards during offshore operations.
Conduct risk assessments and mitigate high-risk activities.
Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and client representatives to align construction goals.
Facilitate daily briefings, progress reviews, and reporting to senior management.
Develop and implement hookup strategies and offshore construction plans.
Monitor progress and adjust plans to address delays.
