Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Elevated Structures Expert - High-Speed Rail in Abu Dhabi, UAE to lead specialist structural engineering for elevated rail infrastructure, including viaducts, guideways, and precast segments. You will drive design reviews, constructability assessments, and interfaces across disciplines to meet international railway standards.

The role requires 15+ years of structural rail experience, with at least 10 years on metro/high-speed rail projects, and professional registration is

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
Master's degree is preferred for advanced leadership roles.
Professional registration (PE/CEng or equivalent) is desired.

Responsibilities

Provide expert structural leadership for elevated rail projects across lifecycle.
Lead reviews of design calculations, BIM models and construction docs.
Coordinate interfaces with track, geotechnical and architecture disciplines.
Ensure compliance with railway design standards and safety requirements.
Support construction with technical troubleshooting and design changes.
