Job summary
ADNOC Drilling Company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Drilling Engineer to lead integrated project management for Biogenic Gas wells and oversee lump sum turnkey campaigns. You will collaborate with petroleum, reservoir, and petrophysics teams to develop field development plans and ensure safe, cost-efficient drilling operations.
The role requires 8+ years in drilling/operations, offshore/onshore experience, and familiarity with UBD/MPD/CTD/ERD technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years in Drilling/Workover Engineering and Operations.
- Experience with OPCOs, preferably UAE.
- Experience in offshore and onshore rig activities.
- Knowledge of drilling technologies (UBD, MPD, CTD, ERD).
- Proficient in drilling software; Landmark preferred.
- Experience in business planning for Wells and Drilling Operations.
Responsibilities
- Set and manage lump sum turnkey campaign scope of work and related activities.
- Lead and direct Drilling Integrated Project Management teams to execute wells.
- Endorse drilling programs and approve AFE for wells.
- Develop Full Field Development Plans in collaboration with engineers.
- Advise Exploration on drilling planning, prognosis, and technical needs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and ADNOC standards.
- Provide inputs for MIS and progress reports.
