Job summary

ADNOC Group, a leading Abu Dhabi-based energy company, seeks a Drilling Supervisor for Rig and Workover Operations. The role focuses on directing drilling, workover, and well completion activities on an assigned rig, coordinating contractor teams, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures and approved programs.

The supervisor will monitor operations, adapt plans to changing conditions, and oversee material and equipment coordination to ensure efficient field execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience required.
• Practical understanding of drilling, workover, well completion, and rig site operations.
• Contractor coordination, drilling program execution, and safety/compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise execution of approved drilling, workover, and well completion programs on the assigned rig.
• Direct and coordinate operational activities by drilling contractors and service companies.
• Monitor drilling and well intervention activities for compliance with requirements.
• Recommend amendments to drilling/workover programs as conditions change.
• Oversee implementation of operational instructions and coordination between rig personnel and service providers.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure activities align with contractual provisions.
