Job summary

Wood is seeking a Specialist Digitalization Engineer to lead digital engineering across offshore oil & gas projects. You will drive digitalization strategy, BIM, digital twins, data analytics, and system integrations to enhance project execution and lifecycle performance.

The role requires extensive offshore and PMC experience, with a focus on delivering scalable digital solutions and aligning with client digital standards. Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in Oil & Gas engineering with at least 8+ years in offshore projects.
• Experience leading digital engineering teams within PMC/FEED/EPC environments.
• ADNOC or similar operator experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project's digitalization strategy.
• Lead digital engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure alignment with client digital transformation objectives.
• Establish digital workflows, standards, and governance.
• Manage engineering data and document management systems.
• Coordinate data exchange between EPC contractors and the client.
• Lead Digital Twin solutions development and implementation.
• Support BIM execution planning and model quality reviews.
• Ensure integration of models with operational systems.
