Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director (Cost Management) to lead end-to-end cost management for high-profile projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires strategic cost initiatives, procurement oversight, and strong client interface skills in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will drive value creation through analytical expertise, manage large teams, and mentor cost management professionals while pursuing opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications

• Proven cost/commercial management experience, preferably in consultancy or client-side.
• MRICS preferred with extensive PQE.
• Experience on major programmes and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management across major programmes and projects.
• Oversee procurement processes including pre-qualification, enquiry analysis and contract prep.
• Act as primary client interface ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Mentor and manage cost management teams to deliver high performance.
• Lead value engineering and life-cycle costing initiatives to optimize costs.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on bids and strategic proposals.
