Job summary

Abu Dhabi Manpower Supply is seeking a senior Telecom commissioning professional to lead a team of technicians, manage SAT and functional testing, and coordinate with clients and QA/QC for quality compliance. You will resolve technical issues, review scope of work, and ensure project progress aligns with schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and adherence to HSE standards, with clear communication to line management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical issues of Telecom engineers and supervisors
• Direct daily Telecom SAT, energization and functional testing
• Provide technical support and problem resolution on Telecom equipment
• Coordinate with QA/QC for quality compliance and audits
• Analyze technical issues, initiate corrective action and report to line management
• Interface with client, attend project meetings and ensure progress to schedule
• Ensure testing documents are available and coordinate corrective action
• Identify design failures and lessons learned
• Review project documentation and Telecom scope of work
• Undertake functional and operational tests for Telecom systems
• Assist in pre-commissioning status index and commissioning technical database
• Lead a team of technicians to undertake commissioning activities
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities
• Prepare method statements, procedures and routines where required
• Report on work progress, flag potential problems or delays and recommend solutions
• Plan, monitor and assist in vendor activities
• Ensure temporary supplies and commissioning spares are adequate for subsystem testing
• Perform inter-discipline checks
• Identify design failures and lessons learned
• Comply with HSE standards
• Reports to: Senior Project Commissioning Manager / Project Commissioning Manager. Supervises: Lead / Senior Discipline Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians.
