Job summary

Calo is seeking a Chef De Partie in Dubai to work alongside the head chef to manage daily kitchen activities, oversee staff, assist with menu preparation, and ensure food quality and freshness for customers.

The ideal candidate will have CDP experience, at least 5 years in hospitality, be currently based in Dubai, and communicate in English. A background in a food manufacturing facility is a plus, with a strong focus on teamwork and leadership in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience as CDP (Chef de Partie) required.
• Minimum 5 years in hospitality/catering industry.
• Currently present in Dubai, UAE.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Food manufacturing facility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure kitchen operates in a timely way meeting quality standards.
• Fill in for head chef in planning and directing food preparation.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff; establish schedules and assess performance.
• Communicate tasks clearly to team members; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Order supplies and manage inventory; produce high-quality plates.
