Job summary

DeepLight AI is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to act as a technical authority and client principal across our enterprise engagements in the UAE. You will lead a squad of 5–10 AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps specialists, coaching and guiding career pathways while upholding high technical standards.

You will design autonomous AI architectures, LLM agents, and production-grade ML models on AWS/Azure, translating business challenges into technical roadmaps and ensuring security and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years of formal line management experience.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 8+ years in software engineering, ML, and AI platform development.
• Hands-on agentic AI experience with Python and multi-agent workflows.
• High emotional intelligence to navigate enterprise politics and client trust.
• Production-focused delivery of AI/ML systems into secure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct Line Management & Mentorship of a squad of AI engineers and data scientists.
• Architect autonomous & agentic workflows including LLM agents and RAG pipelines on cloud infra (AWS/Azure).
• Lead client strategy and translate challenges into clear technical roadmaps.
• Navigate stakeholder environments, defend technical choices, and ensure explainability and AI ethics.
• Enforce banking-grade security & MLOps, including zero-trust security and regulatory compliance.
