Job summary

DeepLight AI seeks a Lead Data Architect to act as technical authority across fixed-scope enterprise projects in the UAE. You will mentor engineers, translate executive visions into production-ready Lakehouse architectures, and guide delivery with a focus on security and regulatory compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps Engineers, design zero-trust data security, and align business and IT with high EQ.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Significant demonstrable experience in enterprise data architecture and leading teams.
• Experience owning technical delivery on fixed-scope consultancy projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and govern enterprise Lakehouse architectures (Databricks, Delta Lake) and modern cloud data stacks (AWS, Azure).
• Act as the primary technical advisor to client C-suite, translating challenges into fixed-scope blueprints and roadmaps.
• Direct and mentor a team of engineers and quantitative specialists with a culture of psychological safety and continuous learning.
• De-escalate project friction using high EQ and align business and IT agendas.
• Design zero-trust data security frameworks compliant with regional regulatory frameworks.
