EDGE, through the ADVANCED CONCEPTS unit, is seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to lead missile design and optimization efforts in Abu Dhabi. The role requires deep expertise in aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and propulsion, with a track record in UAS or missile projects.

Applicants should have a strong background in CAD and simulations (MATLAB, ANSYS Fluent, SolidWorks) and be prepared to mentor junior engineers while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in UAS industry with 3+ years in senior/team lead role.
• Experience with guided weapons is preferable.
• Proficient with MS Office, MATLAB, CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
• Familiar with low-fidelity tools (DATCOM) and advanced simulations (ANSYS Fluent).
• Knowledge of jet propulsion systems and missile conceptual design.

Responsabilidades

• Leads the design and optimization of missiles, including fuselage, wings, and control surfaces.
• Incorporates aerodynamic considerations into the design process for optimal performance.
• Applies aerospace engineering principles to guide design projects and ensure stability.
• Utilizes control theory to enhance missile performance and stability.
• Demonstrates deep knowledge of high-speed aerodynamics (transonic and supersonic).
• Supports chief engineer with technical contributions and mentoring of engineers.
