Job summary

EDGE, based in the United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Aerospace Engineer to lead advanced missile design efforts within ADVANCED CONCEPTS. You will oversee aerodynamic, structural, and propulsion studies, driving high-speed aerodynamics work and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master or PhD in Aerospace, 12+ years in UAS, and deep knowledge of missile concepts, control theory, and CFD tools.

Qualifications

Master or PhD in Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum 12 years in UAS industry including 5+ years in a senior/team lead role.
Knowledge of guided weapons and missile technology is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Leads the design, performance evaluation, and optimization of missiles, including fuselage, wings, and control surfaces.
Incorporates structural and aerodynamic considerations into the design process.
Applies deep understanding of applied aerodynamics and flight dynamics to guide design projects.
Utilizes control theory to ensure stability and optimize missile performance.
Mentors and supports engineers at various levels within the team.
