Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed landscape drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details for landscaping projects.
• Develop CAD drawings for hardscape, softscape, irrigation interfaces, site furnishings, and external works.
• Convert conceptual designs and markups into accurate technical drawings.
• Prepare landscape shop drawings per approved designs and project specs.
• Produce planting plans, paving layouts, grading details, boundary treatments, and landscape construction details.
• Coordinate drawing preparation with Landscape Architects, Landscape Engineers, Irrigation Engineers, and Technical Teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, CAD procedures, and regulations.
• Review design information and resolve discrepancies before drawing issuance.
• Incorporate consultant comments and client feedback into updated drawing packages.
• Coordinate landscape drawings with civil, irrigation, electrical, structural, and utility disciplines.

Job Purpose

Responsible for preparing, modifying, and coordinating detailed landscape drawings and technical documentation for hardscape, softscape, irrigation, site development, and external works projects. The role supports design, technical engineering, and construction teams by producing accurate and compliant CAD drawings that meet project specifications, client requirements, and company standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare detailed landscape drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details for landscaping projects.
• Develop CAD drawings for hardscape, softscape, irrigation interfaces, site furnishings, and external works.
• Convert conceptual designs, sketches, and design markups into accurate technical and construction drawings.
• Prepare landscape shop drawings in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Produce detailed planting plans, paving layouts, grading details, boundary treatments, and landscape construction details.
• Coordinate drawing preparation with Landscape Architects, Landscape Engineers, Irrigation Engineers, and Technical Teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, company CAD procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Review design information and identify discrepancies, missing details, or coordination conflicts before drawing issuance.
• Incorporate consultant comments, client feedback, and design revisions into updated drawing packages.
• Coordinate landscape drawings with civil, irrigation, electrical, structural, and utility disciplines.
• Assist in resolving design clashes and interdisciplinary coordination issues.
• Prepare detailed setting-out drawings and site layout plans to support construction activities.
• Support the preparation of material submittals and technical documentation through drawing development.
• Produce construction details for hardscape elements including paving, kerbs, walls, steps, pergolas, seating areas, and landscape structures.
• Prepare detailed softscape drawings including planting layouts, planting schedules, tree pit details, and planting specifications.

Qualification

• Diploma in Landscape Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Experience & Skills

Industry Experience (No. of years): 3–6 years in landscape drafting, hardscape, softscape, and external works projects.

Position/functional Experience (No. Of Years): 2–4 years as Landscape Draftsman preparing hardscape, softscape, and landscape construction drawings.
