Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a KYC & Onboarding Specialist in Abu Dhabi to lead the end-to-end onboarding process for New to Bank clients. You will perform due diligence, sanctions screening, and data verification while coordinating with stakeholders to secure timely approvals.

The role requires at least five years in a reputable international bank with strong AML/KYC regulatory knowledge and experience using data systems like Alpha.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management, Banking, or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years in an international bank with onboarding/KYC/compliance.
• Experience with AML/KYC regulations and financial institutions’ requirements.
• Proactive with prioritization and ability to handle competing demands.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to UAE and international contexts.

Responsibilities

• Manage KYC and onboarding process for New to Bank clients and periodic reviews.
• Conduct due diligence, name screening and Adverse Media checks.
• Liaise with Approver/Compliance and provide required documents.
• Maintain data in Alpha system and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Monitor TATs/SLAs and ensure compliance with internal policies.
