Job summary

Nehal Hotel in Abu Dhabi is seeking a diligent Kitchen Helper to support chefs with food prep, cleaning and general kitchen duties. You will help maintain hygiene, stock, and equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years UAE experience, holds an Emirates Food Safety Training certificate, and works well in a team while staying punctual and reliable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years UAE kitchen helper experience required.
• EFST certificate required.
• Understand kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand long hours.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Punctual and disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, cutting, peeling, portioning ingredients).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen tools.
• Properly store food items and manage kitchen stock.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and report shortages to supervisor.
