Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering is hiring Kitchen Helpers to join our high-volume food production team in Dubai. You will support chefs by keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary while following standard recipes.

Key duties include washing, peeling and cutting vegetables, operating dishwashers, and ensuring cleanliness of storage areas. Candidates need a high school certificate, basic English, 1 year in a commercial kitchen, and fitness for the OHC medical test.

Qualifications

• High school certificate and ability to read and understand basic English instructions.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen or catering environment.
• Physically fit to stand for long hours and pass the Occupational Health Card (OHC) medical test.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables according to standard recipes.
• Operate industrial dishwashing machines and ensure all kitchen pots, pans, and utensils are deeply sanitized.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all cold storage rooms, dry stores, and heavy kitchen equipment.
• Strictly follow all Dubai Municipality food safety guidelines and proper garbage disposal procedures.
