Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or Steward preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation, cutting, chopping, and ingredient setup.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and workstations.
• Wash dishes, kitchen equipment, and cooking tools.
• Support food storage and stock organization.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Dispose of waste and maintain sanitation standards.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
