Responsibilities

• Support chefs in cooking and presenting menu items on time while maintaining quality and plating standards.
• Follow SOPs for cooking techniques and recipe execution to ensure consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment through cleaning and sanitizing.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking quality and storage conditions.
• Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory, and notify supervisors of shortages or discrepancies.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for proper handling and labeling of foods.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely task completion.
• Assist chefs in preparing ingredients and setting up stations before service.
• Regularly clean and sanitize workstations and equipment to maintain hygiene.
• Maintain kitchen equipment by following cleaning procedures and reporting issues.
• Comply with local health regulations and restaurant policies on cleanliness.
• Keep kitchen environment organized, including washing dishes when needed.
• Follow waste management procedures, segregating trash and recyclables.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and stay updated with industry trends.
