Job summary

Ecojob is seeking a skilled Chef for our Abu Dhabi kitchen. The role entails preparing, cooking and presenting dishes per standard recipes while leading kitchen staff and maintaining high food-safety standards.Excellent communication with customers and colleagues is required.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role, strong knowledge of safety regulations, nutrition awareness, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Good understanding of nutrition requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Eye for presentation.
• Ability to lead a team with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals according to recipes provided by the restaurant.
• Supervising the kitchen staff.
• Ensuring all food is cooked to the correct temperature and stored correctly.
• Training junior kitchen staff.
• Creating new dishes or adapting existing recipes to meet customer needs.
• Keeping accurate records of stock levels and orders placed.
