Eathos in Dubai is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs with basic preparation, mise en place, and kitchen cleanliness. You will help with washing, cutting, portioning, labeling and stock control while ensuring food safety standards are met in a central kitchen.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a kitchen steward or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Familiarity with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping).
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Reliability and punctuality; positive attitude.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Assist chefs in preparing ingredients for hot and cold kitchen operations.
• Support mise en place and ensure ingredients and equipment are ready for service.
• Prepare salads, sandwiches, garnishes and simple items under supervision.
• Organize and replenish ingredients, utensils and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and storage areas.
• Wash and sanitize utensils, cutting boards, containers and equipment.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling and FIFO rotation.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries and report damaged items.
• Follow HACCP principles and local food safety regulations.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning and other kitchen maintenance tasks.
