Job summary

Yas Heat Racing in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a skilled Kart Racing Mechanic to support its premier karting program. The role covers preparation, maintenance, and trackside support for Bambino through Senior categories in IAME and ROTAX championships.

You will work closely with drivers, coaches, and technical staff to optimize reliability and performance during training, testing, and race events. UAE-based candidates with a valid UAE driving license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in competitive kart racing environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAME and ROTAX engine systems.
• Familiarity with UAE karting circuits and racing conditions.
• Technical problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• UAE-based candidates holding a valid UAE driving license will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain racing karts to motorsport standards.
• Provide trackside support, troubleshooting, repairs, and performance optimization during race weekends.
• Perform engine preparation, calibration, maintenance, and diagnostics on IAME and ROTAX platforms.
• Conduct chassis setup, alignment, geometry adjustments, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with FIA Karting regulations and event requirements.
• Manage workshop tools, spare parts inventory, and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with coaches and drivers to support performance development across categories.

About the Role

As a Kart Racing Mechanic, you will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, optimization, and trackside support of racing karts competing across Bambino, Micro, Mini, Junior, and Senior categories in both IAME and ROTAX championships. You will work closely with drivers, coaches, and technical staff to ensure maximum reliability and performance during training, testing, and race events.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain racing karts to the highest motorsport standards
• Provide trackside support, troubleshooting, repairs, and performance optimization during race weekends
• Perform engine preparation, calibration, maintenance, and diagnostics on IAME and ROTAX platforms
