Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking an IT Infrastructure professional in Dubai to monitor server health, perform routine checks, and support AD user administration. You’ll assist with OS patching, server builds, and basic configurations while handling Windows and Linux troubleshooting and backup verification.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT infrastructure, familiarity with virtualization and cloud basics, and good communication and documentation skills. ITIL knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical support.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and availability of servers and infrastructure systems
• Perform routine server health checks and report issues to senior engineers
• Assist with user account administration in Active Directory
• Support routine operating system patching and updates
• Assist with server builds, deployments, and basic configuration tasks
• Perform basic troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers
• Support backup operations and verify backup completion
• Assist with monitoring Microsoft Azure resources and performing basic administrative tasks
• Support Azure Backup and recovery activities
• Follow organizational security policies and assist with vulnerability remediation
• Provide Level 1 infrastructure support for incidents and service requests
