Job summary

Fatherson International Fze is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer in Dubai to assist in design, analysis, and inspection of structural systems for diverse projects. You will prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports under senior engineers’ guidance, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

The role offers exposure to reinforced concrete and steel design, coordination with architects and MEP teams, and active involvement in construction documentation and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience in structural engineering or construction projects.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design principles.
• Familiarity with local and international design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the structural design and analysis of buildings and other structures.
• Prepare structural calculations, reports, and design documentation.
• Develop and review structural drawings and details using engineering software.
• Support the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and material schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other project team members.
• Review shop drawings and technical submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Assist in identifying and resolving structural design and construction issues.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain project records and technical documentation.
