Job summary

Six Construct, a BESIX Group company, is seeking a UAE National Junior Structural Engineer to join our Dubai team. The role offers hands-on experience in structural design, site coordination, and project execution within a leading multinational organization.

You will contribute to ensuring structural integrity, quality, and compliance across complex developments that support the UAE’s growing infrastructure and urban landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design and relevant codes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and evaluation of tender and project design.
• Assist in production of design reports based on calculations.
• Develop project structural design packages under supervision of Senior Engineers.
• Participate in site visits to ensure compliance with design intent and specs.
• Ensure designs comply with codes (ACI, Eurocode, BS, AASHTO, ASTM).

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated UAE National Junior Structural Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of our flagship projects in Dubai. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a young engineering professional to gain hands‑on experience in structural design, site coordination, and project execution within a leading multinational organization. The Junior Structural Engineer will play an important role in ensuring structural integrity, quality, and compliance across complex developments that contribute to the UAE’s growing infrastructure and urban landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in design and evaluation of tender and project design.
• Assist in production of design reports based on calculation performed with various FEM tools.
• Develop project permanent and temporary works structural design packages under supervision of Senior Structural Engineers.
• Participate in site visits during the construction phase to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
• Ensure structural design complies with design and building codes and standards (ACI, Eurocode, British Standard, AASHTO, ASTM, etc.) and project specifications.
• Ensure structural design prioritize safety and comply with HSE standards.
• Develop R&D initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering (preferable Master’s degree in Structural)
• Knowledge of steel and concrete structural design
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE, BS EN international codes and local regulations
• Knowledge of Structural software and Autocad
